should Kansa(or any other state) make same-sex marriages illegal? no, none one have the right to prohibit to another person the way to persute for their felicity. If one person dicide to marriage with other person(the same sex) he has his right to find his own happiness, that U.S Constitution give to every one. No body, no state, or local govermment have the right to block away this exential right.
